The more we explore these questions, the more we realize that before we can embed patient centricity into our health care systems, policies, and institutions, we need a clear, shared understanding of what it truly means. In an effort to say what we mean, and mean what we say, we’re thrilled to introduce DISRUPT—a collaborative campaign designed to build consensus on the definition and implementation of patient centricity. As a speaker and advocate for cancer patients, I VERY frequently hear, #PatientsAreAtTheCenter of everything we do. For those in the know, or those working for the #pharmaceuticalindustry, do their board of directors have at least one non-employee #PatientAdvocate on their Board of Directors? If so, what a wonderful way to keep in touch and get real feedback to upper management. If not, are you moving towards that? And for those that don't agree on this, I am wondering why.
