I met with a friend who is at the top of the safety sector in his company, which is one of the major companies. We discussed the safety laws and procedures in place at his company, and I was surprised to learn that there is no emergency response plan. This plan is one of the most important safety plans for facilities, and employees should be regularly trained on it so that they know the safe procedure to follow in the event of an emergency, God forbid. These friendly meetings and purposeful discussions are very enriching for everyone. #emergency_response_plan

🚨 Ladder Safety Alert! 🚨 Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a quick reminder about the importance of ladder safety. Recently, there was a *ladder safety incident* where a worker fell because they relied on a colleague holding the ladder with their foot. 😳 Not cool! This unconventional method gave a false sense of security and totally violated safety protocols. 🚫👷♂️ We really need to prioritize proper stabilization methods—like using ladder stabilizers or securing the ladder at the top. This incident really emphasizes how crucial it is to have proper training, supervision, and to stick to safety protocols. 📋✅ Let's not forget that unsafe practices can lead to serious injuries. Always remember to follow the right ladder safety procedures! Stay safe, everyone! 🚑🛠️ #SafetyFirst #LadderSafety #StaySmart

Safety First: Lessons from an Unfortunate Incident Safety in the workplace is paramount, and recent events at TCN Kumbotso have underscored this truth in a poignant way. An earthing transformer incident resulted in a cat being severely burned, ultimately leading to its death. While this may seem minor, it serves as a critical reminder: if this could happen to a cat, it could easily happen to one of us. 🔹 Prioritize Training: Regular and comprehensive safety training sessions are essential. Ensure every team member is well-versed in the latest safety protocols and emergency procedures. 🔹 Safety Inspections: Conduct frequent and thorough safety inspections. Identify potential hazards before they become real threats. 🔹 Use Proper Gear: Always wear appropriate safety gear. Helmets, gloves, goggles, and other protective equipment are your first line of defense. 🔹 Report Hazards: Encourage a culture where employees feel empowered to report unsafe conditions without fear of retribution. 🔹 Follow Procedures: Adherence to safety procedures is non-negotiable. Cutting corners can cost lives. The loss of a small life is a wake-up call for us all. Let’s ensure we follow all safety guidelines diligently to prevent any potential harm to ourselves and our colleagues. Safety isn’t just a policy; it’s a responsibility. Let’s stay vigilant and committed to making our workplace safe for everyone. #TCN #SafetyFirst #Engineering #WorkplaceSafety #SafetyCulture #StaySafe
