Massachusetts gets an F. Ouch. Not what we are used to hearing in the education world. 💲 Champlain College in Vermont has a Financial Literacy Center and puts out a report card every year grading each state on their efforts for providing financial literacy to their students. Twenty-nine states got an 'A' or 'B'. Massachusetts got an 'F.' 💲 VHS Learning has a semester-based paced online Personal Finance course where high school students can collaborate with peers from around the world, Personal Finance Flexible which is a self-paced course that can be enrolled in any time of year, and also a credit recovery Personal Finance course. 💲 This is a great option for schools that want to buck the norm and make sure their students have the opportunity to learn the basics of financial literacy, for students who want to position themselves in a place to have control of their money or for parents who think their kids might absorb the teachings better from someone else than them. : ) #personalfinance #onlinelearning #financialliteracy https://lnkd.in/eGUX4bNy
