We’ll always have Paris! I’ll be heading straight from VicenzaOro to the City of Lights with Donatella Zappieri, Principal Consultant, in just over a week. Will you be there? After 30 years in this industry, I've learned that nothing replaces sitting across the table from someone, sharing a coffee, and diving deep into strategy. Some of our best ideas have emerged from these in-person moments. Not to mention this inspiring city! At Hill & Co., we don't just consult from afar. We show up. We listen. We strategize together. Whether it's a quick TGV ride from London or a long-haul flight, being there matters. Though I must confess, when "being there" means Paris, it does make the journey a bit sweeter. Between client meetings, you might catch us walking at pace in Place Vendôme, feeling the pulse of the epicenter of haute joaillerie. Want to connect while we're in the city? Drop me a DM or email inquiry@hillandco.co. #BusinessStrategy #Paris #Diamonds #Gemstones #Jewelry

Diving into the third module of the LVMH Certificate which is about Creation and Branding, I came across a chapter named "Creation of windows, events and runway shows at Louis Vuitton" in which the two master minds Faye Mcleod and Ansel Thompson explain through an interview the process of coming to create the store windows, exhibitions, runway shows, temporary spaces, digital projects, and facades of the brand and it left me with so much emotion to find out the specific work and activities that they get to do while developing this role inside of the company, their ideas and the way they reproduce them quickly became into an inspiration of myself. For the past last year I have been walking around Lyon, France making window-sighting (if I could tell it like that) wondering where all this incredible and creative concepts and ideas come from, and now is so good to know and read about them! Diving deeper I found the video about their exposition in NY of 200 Trunks ( https://lnkd.in/e6xkGZbZ ) and I loved "The Residency Initiative", it is very comforting to know that even the best designers in the industry care and seek spaces for the creativity of young creatives like me, I hope to have the joy of being in collaboration with their ideas, values and innovation. I leave a video of mine while walking around the city admiring the windows! Thank you for reading me! :)

To the Prada US coperated team, I am publicly addressing this matter because my repeated attempts to resolve an overdue payment issue with your team have gone unanswered. For over five months, I have been waiting for payment, and despite reaching out to Victoria Charles Koudou Dou and having emails copied to other senior team members, there has been no resolution or communication. As a professional who has fulfilled my responsibilities, I believe I deserve: 1. A clear explanation as to why my payment has been withheld for this long. 2. An acknowledgment of why I am being held accountable for errors caused by your team, such as incorrect entries or providing the wrong information. It is disheartening to experience such negligence and lack of accountability from a globally respected brand like Prada. I have always admired the company for its values, but this situation does not align with the professionalism or standards I expected. I kindly request immediate action to resolve this matter. Transparency, fairness, and respect are crucial in any partnership, and I trust Prada values the same. I hope this public message reaches the right individuals who can take ownership and ensure a swift resolution. Thank you. #Accountability #Professionalism #ResolutionNeeded #Prada

My career path took many unexpected turns. Born on the 75th anniversary of MEGGLE GmbH & Co. KG, a family business founded by my great-grandfather Josef Anton Meggle, I initially envisioned a traditional path. But, as often in life, you face a reality you did not even imagine in your most daring dreams. Yet I should be taught that even the worst defeat or crisis can trigger an amazing recovery followed by an enriching journey. So, in January 2002, I had to find a new job and, more importantly, project myself into a career beyond the family business. And this is where it begins. Passionate about storytelling, luxury brands, and the French 'art de vivre,' I set my sights on the German market for French luxury houses. When Cartier began their search for a General Manager for the German, Austrian, and Eastern European markets, I saw a once in a life time opportunity. Knowing my CV might not stand out in the traditional application process, I decided to take a more direct approach. I sent my application directly to the former CEO, Guy Leymarie. To my delight, he expressed interest, and after a series of interviews, I landed the role. However, shortly after joining, the newly appointed CEO initiated a review of recent hires. It looked as if my days were counted, but this is where my second mentor, coach, and boss stepped in to hold a protecting hand over this young, maturing luxury executive from the Bavarian Alps… it was Gérard Djaoui. With decades of experience at Cartier, Gérard embodied the brand's values that I still love about Cartier: heritage, craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Under Gérard’s guidance, I grew and learnt quickly to develop the brand’s expansion in Eastern Europe, culminating in the opening of Cartier Prague in 2007. The picture below is actually from the opening, with President Václav Klaus and Mayor Pavel Bem, who had just returned to work from climbing Mount Everest. I thank Gérard, Cyrille Vigneron, and the entire Cartier tribe for 6 inspiring and wonderful years. This experience fuels my passion for HelloGenius and our vision to connect you with exceptional minds and mentors like John Malkovich, empowering you to navigate your own unique journey. The registrations for the John Malkovich course are now open - http://bit.ly/3ZWmOpP #mentors #learning #innertransformation #personaldevelopment

"There Is Nothing Permanent But Change" The sixth century greek philosopher Heraclitus believed the only thing that is constant is change.#heritage The heritage italian luxury brand FERRAGAMO, like many heritage brands, is going through significant change. Maximilian Davis ,it's new creative director, is taking the brand into it's next chapter. His challenge is to attract new ,mostly younger customers, while also appealing to the brands traditional customer.#luxurycustomer He has already made strides with his vision. FERRAGAMO's fall 2023 campaign called 'Ferragamo's New Renaissance’ juxtaposed or overlapped 15th and 16th century italian renaissance art with diverse models. This juxtaposition of old and new is a concept i call Nú Heritage which appeals to both old and young luxury customers. #nuheritage This campaign inspired other heritage brands to run similar campaigns. This positioning i believe is going to spur growth at Ferragamo. I also see lots of growth opportunity for Ferragamo online that could turn it into a billion dollar revenue business. #luxuryecommerce Ferragamo's numbers represent the luxury market today not the luxury market of tomorrow. Which it is well placed to prosper in. Scientia est Potentia - Knowledge is Power #Ferragamo #luxuryheritagebrand #thefreshkid
