Picture this: orders flooding in, tables filling up, and the pressure building to keep up with the chaos. Being slammed is more than just a term - it's a whirlwind experience that tests your speed, skill, and patience. From handling multiple tables to keeping a smile on your face, it's a tough gig that requires true dedication. And let's not forget about the kitchen staff, working just as hard to meet the demands of a packed dining room. So next time you dine out, remember the hard work that goes into every meal served. It's great to see continual growth in the restaurant & dining sectors in Philadelphia & the surrounding counties. I'm glad to have represented a couple of the tenants named in the "60 New Restaurants Coming to the Philly Area this Fall" and am excited to see the vibrancy of Philadelphia's restaurant scene propel forward. According to USDA Economic Research Service food-away-from-home spending accounting for 56% of total food expenditures in 2022. Over a 20 year period, food-away-from-home spending as a percentage of disposable personal income has increased about 19%. These are positive organic trends, based in sociological shifts, make investment in the restaurant & dining industry attractive for operators and landlords alike. https://lnkd.in/e6F9fVk4

Should experiential dine-in restaurants offer delivery as a side-hustle? Nope. The incremental mindset doesn't do anyone any favors. Dine-in customers get a worse experience. Delivery customers get lower-quality product that costs more. Restaurant staff are frustrated. Love this approach by Cunningham Restaurant Group to separate out delivery, and focus on it as its own occasion. CRG Delivery will put items off menus from across its portfolio of brands into one customer-facing ordering experience, one delivery basket, and one kitchen. Powered by the Empower Delivery software, CRG Delivery's great food will also be a great experience. Just like ClusterTruck is absolutely magical to consumers, so too will be CRG Delivery. A great product at a great value. Looking forward to it!
We are excited about Cunningham Restaurant Group's recent announcement of CRG Delivery. This delivery kitchen will bring the most popular menu items from CRG's collection of restaurants to downtown #indianapolis residents via - you guessed it - Empower Delivery software. CRG's award-winning concepts have not been available via delivery, until now. Their dine-in restaurants are focused, as they should be, on the incredible hospitality experience CRG is known for. This delivery kitchen will be focused on the delivery occasion. Demand for their great food coupled with delivered convenience is high - this should be great! We could not be more pleased to have such a capable restaurant group as a client. https://lnkd.in/gXKpjcJR Carissa Newton Chris Baggott Michael O'Donnell Gabe Cotton, CPA
