🏆 With the Ballon d’Or 2024 ceremony wrapped up, and Rodri being named as the best men’s player in the World, let’s take a look at the market value evolution of those players in the top 3. 🥇 With the lowest market value amongst the Ballon d’Or’s top 3 players, we find the winner, Rodri, at €117 million, with his value having increased by +€8 million since July 2023. 🥈 In 2nd, we find Vinicius Junior, who also has the 2nd highest market value of the 3, having grown by +€18 million since July 2023, up to €176 million. 🥉 And ranking 3rd at the Ballon d’Or 2024, we find 21-year-old Jude Bellingham, with the highest market value of the 3, while also having experienced the biggest increase since July 2023, where he was given his 1st market value as a Real Madrid player, of €152 million. 💰 Looking at the most valuable squads in La Liga, following the September update of our valuation tool, Real Madrid claim the top spot as their squad value has increased by +€243 million to €1,373 million. This substantial increase can be mostly attributed to the acquisition of a certain Kylian Mbappé, who now has a €233.2 million market valuation. Furthermore, Real Madrid have 3 of the 4 most valuable players in the World, with Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. also to be found on this list. 📉 In 2nd, FC Barcelona have a squad value of €924 million, following a -€77 million decrease this summer, which has been fuelled by the exits of players such as İlkay Gündoğan, João Cancelo and João Félix. 📈 In 3rd, Atlético Madrid have increased their squad value to €566 million following some significant signing this summer. In the 2022/23 season, Real Madrid C.F. emerged as the club with the highest operating revenue globally, reaching €830 million and surpassing Manchester City FC. The newly crowned Spanish and UCL champions recorded a 16% revenue growth (+30% compared to 2020/21). Furthermore, according to the club estimates, the new Santiago Bernabéu stadium is expected to significantly boost Real Madrid’s matchday revenue, potentially reaching €300 million.
