Forbion is pleased to announce its second BioEconomy fund investment in just two days, co-leading an oversubscribed €17.4m Series A financing round for NOVAMEAT, alongside Sofinnova Partners and existing investors Unovis Asset Management, Praesidium and Rubio Impact Ventures. This funding will enable Novameat to scale its production capacity through its proprietary MicroForce technology, further driving the development of sustainable plant-based meat alternatives. Alexander Hoffmann, General Partner at Forbion, will join the Novameat Board of Directors, while Joy Faucher, Partner at Forbion, will be appointed as Board Observer. The final results of our #BIO2024 step competition are in. Technically, there is one more day of BIO, but we limited the competition to the three "heavy days". Jessica Davis wins bragging rights with over 50K steps (~21 miles) walked and sometimes ran during the show. Her victory embodies one of the pillars of Dynamk Capital's investment strategy - CONSISTENCY! A key message we heard this week at BIO was that companies are indeed seeing positive growth indicators. Those who circled the wagons the past 12-18 months and focused on their core business, like Dyanmk Capital's portfolio companies, are poised to capitalize in 2024.
