Absolutely correct. Greater Mumbai Police Yes, We are experiencing significant challenges with the requirement of having cleaners for each vehicle. In the current scenario, finding reliable drivers itself has become a difficult task, and sourcing cleaners for every vehicle adds to the complexity. We kindly request you to reconsider issuing challans for the absence of cleaners in vehicles. It is an additional burden on vehicle owners who are already complying with multiple safety regulations.

Being a transport operator is indeed challenging in today's time, no doubts about it. I firmly believe this union thing needs to stop at some point looking at the scale we as a country operate. Unions were great when the scale of operations were limited which assured a sense of security for the people working on the ground level. But cargo flowing at this vast scale? The purpose of Union is destroyed in it's entirety. Every "working" person has a food on his table. Being penalized to operate a business post paying every single due owed on time? I think policies should be more business friendly and departments need to think in a competitive way rather than giving sense of security to the people who wish to work less yet want to make a living. Competency drives growth. I reserve the right to be wrong. But kudos to speak up on this matter. #support

According to the Motor Vehicles Act, the legal drink drive limit in India is a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) of 0.03%, which translates to 30 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. Exceeding this limit is considered a punishable offense.
