BIG LIFE UPDATE: It’s a bittersweet announcement but I will be transitioning out of my role as Sr VP of Marketing for Viking Mergers & Acquisitions into a new opportunity. I wanted to say thanks so much to Jay Offerdahl Larry Lawson Larry Lawson III (Tripp) Christian A. Trevor Crocker Mike Donahue Mark Urbania Robert Aliota Dan Wilson Ben Knight Merrell Stout Kyle Kerrigan Jackson Payne Jeffery L. (Jeff) McKeehan Greg Ponder who taught me more than I could learn in a lifetime about selling and buying a business. I was brand new to the industry and there was a lot I didn’t know coming into M&A and business brokerage. Joining in the middle of a pandemic in May 2020 was a unique challenge and opportunity. And we went all in… With Mary Lou Winn, helping guide our processes and planning, we put our hands to the plow and since then we grew from 30+ to 60+ staff. We went from 7 to 12 offices, saw incredible transformation across the business. We learned a lot. We made mistakes. (I made A LOT of mistakes.) We tried things we never tried before. We learned some valuable lessons along the way. We reiterated and then we listed, launched and sold countless businesses time and time again. Adding Zayna Beckles in the rapidly growing Tampa office was a total game changer for our marketing team and she took us up a few levels right away. Haydn Flores and Ryan Finn you guys are game changers and had so much fun working with you both. Great things are ahead for the organization. I’m proud to say I have made lifelong mentors and friends through being apart of what Jay Offerdahl and the Viking team have built here. As we approach the mid-year mark, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the progress you've made this year with personal and business-oriented goals and to realign on our goals for the remainder of the year. Your dedication and hard work have been pivotal to success. Celebrating Our Achievements Firstly, let's celebrate the milestones you've reached. Each accomplishment, big or small, has contributed to overarching objectives and progress of one or many goals. Reaffirming Our Goals While we've made significant strides, it's important to remember that we still have six months left in the year to achieve our goals. Whether you're on track, ahead of schedule, or facing challenges, there is ample time to make meaningful progress. Here are a few key points to keep in mind as we move forward: Reevaluate and Adjust: Take a moment to review your goals and strategies. Are there areas that need adjustment or improvement? Fine-tuning our approach can yield substantial results. Stay Focused and Motivated: Persistence is key. Stay focused on your objectives and remain motivated by the progress we've made. Small, consistent efforts can lead to significant outcomes. Leverage Resources: Don't hesitate to utilize all the resources at your disposal. Whether it's additional training, tools, or support. Encouragement for the Next Six Months If you find that you're not quite where you'd hoped to be at this point, don't be discouraged. The journey to our goals is often filled with challenges, but it's these very challenges that provide opportunities for growth and improvement. Remember, we have a full six months ahead to turn aspirations into achievements. Moving Forward Together Let's continue to support each other, share insights, and push the boundaries of what's possible. I'm always here to support you in any way I can.
