It’s no secret that the construction industry in Australia contributes to 40% of landfill. REVERT GROUP are leading the way to changing this. Recently we visited Revert Group’s facility in Melbourne. Here we were able to see how various materials such as metal, e-waste, insulation, chipboard, plastic board, carpet, plastic and even old paint tins etc are separated at defit stage by REVERT GROUP. Each individual material is separated into colour coded bins and then dismantled (if needed) and recycled. Often given a second life through innovative manufacturers who are turning post construction waste into benchtop materials, ceramics etc. A great example of circularity!
