Max the Magnificent strikes again! 🦁 Max Verstappen clinches pole position in Jeddah for the first time in the race's third running. He's on fire to start the season with two poles in just as many races! 🔥 Any doubts about Max and Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology facing a challenge this year seem to be nothing more than wishful thinking. Congratulations Max! #SaudiArabianGP #F1 #MaxVerstappen #RedBullRacing #Formula1 #PolePosition #P1 #Champion #Formula469

I'm back again with another article on my blog! This article is a review of the recent Formula One race that kicked off the 2024 season. Bahrain's qualifying on Friday and the race on Saturday had fans witness a similar pattern of domination at the top of the grid to that of the 2023 season, it's anyone's guess as to whether it will be the same for the rest of the year. #blogpost #sport #formulaone

Are Bearman and Colapinto in F1 comparable to Sesks and Pajari in WRC? Since the Azerbaijan GP, I've been reflecting on how these rising talents stack up, despite competing in different championships. 🇬🇧 Ollie Bearman – Ollie made his F1 debut in Jeddah, standing in for Carlos Sainz at Scuderia Ferrari. He delivered an impressive performance, showcasing his pace and skill. His second appearance in Azerbaijan, filling in for Haas’ Kevin Magnussen, also saw him score points. Bearman is set for a full season with Haas in 2025. 🇦🇷 Franco Colapinto – Franco debuted in F1 at Monza, replacing Logan Sargeant at Williams Racing, and became the first Argentine driver in F1 since 2001. He scored points in his second race, cementing his status as a rising star. With a seat still available at Sauber for 2025, could Colapinto secure a full-time F1 spot? 🇱🇻 Mārtiņš Sesks – The 2023 European Rally Championship vice-champion made an immediate impact in his WRC debut, finishing 5th in Poland and narrowly missing a stage win. He continued to impress in his home rally in Latvia with two stage wins before technical issues interrupted his podium run. Sesks returns to Rally1 action this week in Chile. 🇫🇮Sami Pajari – Pajari has had a strong WRC2 season, claiming three victories. His Rally1 debut in Finland saw him overcome early challenges to secure a stage win and finish 4th. Like Sesks, Pajari is competing in Rally Chile this week and has a confirmed Rally1 appearance in the Central European Rally next month. These young talents are proving themselves capable of competing at the highest level. Should F1 and WRC teams do more to offer emerging drivers greater opportunities? Who do you think deserves a chance to showcase their talent? #Formula1 #F1 #WRC #Rally #Racing

#Monaco is over and Formula 1 now has its 4th race winner of the year as Charles Leclerc takes his first victory since the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prixin 2022 and now F1 is back in #NorthAmerica for the FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX DU CANADA which means that once again it is time for my preview and predictions, can Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology bounce back and once again claim victory after losing last time out or will Charles Leclerc and Ferrari make it two wins in a row, also Mclaren will be looking to continue their fine form with both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz in the other Ferrari will be looking to bounce back after a couple of tricky races. Sergio Perez in the Red Bull will be looking for a better race after crashing out at the start of the Monaco GP. For Mercedes-AMG GmbH they are all alone as the 4th fastest team as Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are ahead of the cars behind but a long way off of the cars that are ahead of them such as Aston Martin who will be looking to get back in the points with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll as they have been struggling now for a couple of races and they are coming under pressure from Yuki Tsunoda in the VCARB. The Canadian Grand Prix at #Montreal is a great circuit which has a lot of history and incidents often happen as the tight chicanes have walls close by. Will anyone find themselves in the legendary Wall of Champions? #F1 #Formula1 #F1Race #F1Weekend #F1Quali #F1Testing #F1Sprint #F1Driver #F1Team #F1Fan #MercedesAMGF1 #RedBullRacing #Ferrari #ScuderiaFerrari #McLaren #AlpineF1 #AstonMartinF1 #WilliamsF1 #AlfaRomeoF1 #HaasF1 #AlphaTauri #LewisHamilton #MaxVerstappen #CharlesLeclerc #SebastianVettel #LandoNorris #DanielRicciardo #FernandoAlonso #CarlosSainz #SergioPerez #GeorgeRussell

Adrian Newey set to leave Red Bull F1 team https://lnkd.in/ePnKcKRY Newey has decided to leave Red Bull after a two-decade stint as the team's stalwart designer, playing an instrumental role in designing the cars that propelled Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen to a total of seven drivers' world championships and six constructors' titles for Red Bull. The news of Newey's impending departure was first reported by German outlet Auto Motor und Sport and has since been confirmed to Motorsport.com by sources with knowledge of the situation. Despite only signing a fresh Red Bull deal last year, Newey's future at the Milton Keynes squad has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks. Red Bull is still embroiled in an ongoing internal power struggle between the Thai side of the business, which supports team principal Christian Horner, and the Austrian side including team advisor Helmut Marko. The issue came to a head at the start of the 2024 season after an internal investigation into allegations of misconduct by Horner against a female member of staff, a probe which dismissed the claims against the 50-year-old. Newey is understood to be unsettled by Red Bull's situation and the saga around Horner, which has led to a shock decision to inform the team management that he has decided to walk out. The news presents a huge blow for Red Bull, which is currently cruising to another world championship with Verstappen and its dominant RB20. Verstappen still has a contract with the squad until the end of 2028, but made it clear in recent weeks that his future of the team heavily depends on all the "pillars" of its success remaining in place.

Norris dominates Singapore Grand Prix to cut Verstappen’s title lead: Lando Norris led from pole to chequered flag Sunday to take a dominant Singapore Grand Prix win and narrow the gap to Formula One championship leader Max Verstappen, who was second, to 52 points. It was the McLaren driver’s third career GP win and his first from pole position at his sixth attempt as he finished almost 30 seconds clear of his rival’s Red Bull. Teammate Oscar Piastri was third to extend McLaren’s lead over Red Bull in the constructors’ championship to 41 points with six races and three sprints to go. It was a uniquely incident-free 62 laps around the Marina Bay Street Circuit under lights, the first in its 15-race history not to see a safety car deployed. Norris got away brilliantly from pole and was clear of Verstappen into the first bend as Lewis Hamilton, on softer tyres, tried to put pressure on the Dutchman. But the three-time world champion repelled the Englishman and all the cars completed the opening lap safely. Norris soon opened up a gap of more than a second over Verstappen, importantly keeping the Englishman out of DRS range. Hamilton from third was the only front-runner to start on soft tyres and he paid a penalty for not managing to get past Verstappen when he had to pit early on lap 18. The aim was clearly to go all the way to the end but after just five laps on the new rubber he complained on team radio: “I’m already struggling with this tyre.” Norris was in a league of his own up front as he stretched his lead over Verstappen to 20 seconds by lap 26. ‘Close calls’ Despite a few late brushes with the unforgiving Singapore street circuit walls, the Englishman secured a dominant victory. “It was an amazing race,” said Norris. “A few too many close calls, I had a couple of close moments in the middle but it was well managed I think. “The car was mega. I could push, we were flying the whole race, and at the end could just chill. So it was a nice race, still tough, I’m a bit out of breath, but a fun one.” Piastri started from fifth but a superior strategy enabled him to overhaul Hamilton and the second Mercedes of George Russell in the late stages. “It was a good race, a good recovery from qualifying — it wasn’t my best afternoon yesterday,” said Piastri. “Big thank you to the team as clearly the car was exceptional this weekend, and some great points.” Verstappen’s only chance looked like a safety car or red flag that never came, which left him ploughing a lonely furrow for much of the race, half a minute behind Norris and comfortably clear of the battle for third behind him. “I was by myself. I tried to do the best I could and manage my own pace to the end,” said Verstappen, who has never won in eight starts in Singapore where Red Bull always seem to struggle. “The first stint was a bit difficult for us, quite a bit of tyre degradation,”…

🚨 NEWS: Sergio Perez‘s time at Red Bull could come to a close sooner than expected, as the team will evaluate during the summer break. Over the past few weeks, Sergio Perez‘s future at Red Bull was once again questioned. His performance in Austria and Silverstone didn’t make his CV look better. Now Helmut Marko confirmed that Red Bull will assess the situation during the summer break. 🗣️ “All Formula 1 contracts have exit clauses, most of them related to performance – or let’s say for the top drivers,” Marko told ‘Grandprix 247’. “As I mentioned before, we will have an evaluation during the summer break – and then we will make a decision.” The upcoming two races in Hungary and Belgium will be important for Perez‘s future. He urgently needs to step up his performance and get closer to the top positions again. ⬇️ What do you think? #F1 #Formula1 #SergioPerez #Perez #RedBull #FIA #RB20 #RedBullRacing #MaxVerstappen #HelmutMarko #F1Race #F12024 #Race #Racing #Racer #GrandPrix #GP #F1Tech #Official #Car #RaceCar #News #Update #F1Racing #Motorsport #RacingUpdate
