Decarbonisation is possible and profitable. At Davos, Dr Forrest convened global economic leaders to identify practical pathways toward rapid decarbonisation. Eliminating emissions is smart business, and the right pathway for stronger national economic growth. Dr Forrest was joined by leaders including Vice President Al Gore, Karen Fang, Secretary John Kerry, Tzeporah Berman, Jaime de Bourbon de Parme and Laurence Tubiana.
Great to see this. Movers and shakers shifting the paradigm!
Fortescue’s commitment to decarbonization is impressive! The focus on identifying practical pathways toward rapid emissions reduction is inspiring. It's great to see global leaders coming together to highlight how eliminating emissions can also drive economic growth. #Decarbonization #Sustainability #CleanEnergy #GreenGrowth #GlobalLeadership #ClimateAction
Decarbonisation isn’t just vital for the planet, it’s a smart move for economic growth. Seeing leaders collaborate on practical pathways at Davos is a powerful step forward!

Is this presentation public? Would love to read/watch it
Dr Forrest is a bright shining example of leadership. I wish more leaders like Dr Forrest would take this as an example and put their money and business to good use and help combat climate change instead of turning the clock back decades like Elon Musk and other US super rich supporting Trump. Congratulations Fortescue for being a great example of God corporate value and action.
I agreed. That's why we, ESG Education & Business developed the Institute of Decarbonization & Green Technology ( IDGT) . Thanks to connect if you need a partner in Vietnam
Is that the same Al Gore that said there be no ice left in the Antarctic by the year 2000
It would be wonderful to include some of the critical metrics in the context of the UN Action Plan for a Sustainable Planet in the Digital Age. #thelifemap Errol Finkelstein

2moConsidering the plant life on this planet requires all forms of carbon to grow and produce oxygen for us to survive, it seems stupid to decarbonize. I'm not a smart man but I don't believe we have out produced carbon to the detriment of All things requiring it. In fact the trees for instance have bigger growth because of it. Mother nature will consume it all with leisure. Has the %of oxygen changed in the last 50 years?
