Happy Presidents Day In honor of our presidents past and present, I looked at polls done by unaffiliated and nonpartisan organizations, and I decided to use C-Span’s last polling outcomes from 2021: https://lnkd.in/eSgkwBSa A common thread we see in their presidencies is their ability to face monumental challenges to our nation successfully and make a lasting impact on its future. It’s interesting how these presidents come from differing backgrounds, political parties, and historical contexts. None were perfect, nor did they survive the criticisms lobbed at them when viewed through a contemporary lens. They led through wars, conflicts, and social upheaval. Their leadership during pivotal moments in American history, their ability to inspire an idealized vision of America, and their unifying voice contributed to their enduring legacies. Please do not post your own top ten list nor enter a debate; instead, I ask that you think about the core tenets of great presidents and feel free to share your thoughts on the attributes of great leadership. Here are a few to get you started: · Clarity of vision and purpose · Skilled Communicator · Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and accountability · Courage and conviction · Prioritizing the needs of others The Top Ten Presidents, as seen in the 2021 C-Span polling and their rankings since 2000.

Reflecting on the words often quoted by Bobby Kennedy, "Some men see things as they are and say why, I dream things that never were and say, why not." 🌟 His enduring vision and empathy remain beacons of inspiration for leaders navigating today's challenges. In the realm of leadership, Kennedy's ability to blend a far-reaching vision with a profound sense of empathy stands out. 🌐 His vision wasn't just about the grandeur of ideas but also about making a tangible impact on people's lives. Let's learn from his example, combining bold vision with a compassionate understanding of the human experience. In the workplace, fostering a culture of empathy can be a transformative force. Leaders who connect with the experiences of their teams cultivate an environment where innovation flourishes, and collaboration becomes second nature. 🚀💼 As we navigate the complexities of both our professional and personal journeys, let's draw from Bobby Kennedy's legacy. Let empathy guide our decisions and infuse our vision with a human touch. Together, we can build a future where leadership is not only visionary but also deeply compassionate. 🌈✨ #BobbyKennedy #LeadershipVision #EmpathyInLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment

I recently had the privilege of being interviewed by the wonderful Jane McDowell. We delved into the book 'Dare to Lead by Brene Brown' and used it as a starting point for an interesting conversation about leadership, values and stickability. This book came along when I most needed it. It helped give me a new insight, and validate the actions that I had already been taking...even though they felt difficult at the time. What book have you read that reminds you of a particular time that helped you move forwards? #heartcenteredbusiness #heartcentredconverastions #booklover #leadershipdevelopment 👋 Hi I'm Anna Goodwin 💃Managing Director for the UK’s #1 Business Mentor for Practitioners 💥 We are on a mission to create 1000 heart-centred millionaires. ❤️ Would you like to be one of them? 🏄♀️ We typically work with women in their 40’s who run 6 figure businesses and are worn out from working too hard for too little profit. We help them grow their business from 6 to 7 figures so they can work less and live more Give me a call if you’d like to explore working together to create this result for you
