#REFLECTION: #BOURNE TRILOGY & POWER OF #SELF-GROWTH Matt Damon as Jason Bourne in the world-famous franchise is a testament to *strength and power found in solitude*. Bourne is a loner throughout the franchise, but who is as quick-witted as he is quick on hand-to-hand combat. in almost every movie, there's a scene where we see him *improvise* the use of things around him to protect himself from physical harm. But, probably, the biggest thing for me from Bourne franchise is the fact that if Bourne had neither integrity nor a set of strengths that make him unique, few people would have wanted him dead. As if to remind us that it's when you are most unique that you get the most resistance to you and your ideas. Keep disrupting. Sometimes loudly. Sometimes in silence. The immense power that comes with the *perfect storm of solitude/ntrospection/reflection/and self-analysis* will culminate in a superpower *so great you become unstoppable!!* https://lnkd.in/epdKMNZB

Quentin Tarantino, the proverbial God of Hollywood, revisiting his tenth and final movie of his career, is news. For me, it got me thinking about how people, especially perfectionists, indulge in the game of revisions. I myself am a strong believer in doing things 'once for all,' making a meticulous plan, and sticking to my singular option while solving any problem in my office. For example, if I have to procure a car from another dealership and have the luxury of choosing between several dealerships, I would stick to the dealership where I am comfortable working on a personal level. I would, for this particular situation, forgo thoughts about the cost of acquisitions. Now, many will say if the other option is cost-effective, why not go for that? To them, my answer is always where I started the discussion—I think and find a single possible way and then stick to the plan. Not like Quentin Tarantino, who goes back to the drawing board to work upon other plans. For me, once I have spent ample time on a single plan, then I get to save both time and money. Both are vital in today's high-octane business scenario. Now let's talk about the perspective of the customer. Many times, Sharmaji (prospective customer) will pester different salespeople at several dealerships and try to carve out a hard bargain. Later, Sharmaji gets confused, and after wasting a lot of time, may come back to the first dealership. In many cases, the first dealership may try to wriggle out of the hard bargain to regain a iota of lost ground in terms of taking the cherry off the discount cake. Now, Sharmaji is tired yet excited to buy the car, so he ignores the missing cherry and settles for the remaining cake. The dealership is satisfied with a fair and square deal, while Sharmaji was exhausted in negotiations for a month and thinks he got a better deal. No matter what, everybody is beaming at the time of the car delivery. In my view, I can't emulate Mr. Tarantino's approach. I prefer to stay the course with my singular option. Afterall 'time and money' are priceless. 😊 #motivation #job #careeradvice #success

Guy Ritchie vs. Matthew Vaughn: Who Wields the Tarantinoesque Crown? 🎥🔫 In 2005, Quentin Tarantino nearly directed Casino Royale as a 1960s-set, Pierce Brosnan-led Bond film. That never happened. But here’s what did: James Bond producers borrowed heavily from Layer Cake (directed by Matthew Vaughn) as the visual and tonal blueprint for Daniel Craig’s gritty reinvention of 007. That’s the power of Tarantinoesque filmmaking—fast-talking criminals, stylish violence, and unpredictable narratives. And nobody embodies that aesthetic better than Guy Ritchie and Matthew Vaughn. But who truly perfected the formula? 📊 By the Numbers: ✅ Ritchie’s impact → Lock, Stock, Snatch, The Gentlemen—all deeply influenced by Tarantino. ✅ Vaughn’s evolution → Layer Cake was so Tarantinoesque it shaped the modern Bond era. ✅ Biggest franchise success → Vaughn’s Kingsman series dominated pop culture. ✅ Technical mastery → Ritchie’s Nike POV ad & Sherlock Holmes' slow-mo fights set new standards. ✅ Blockbuster consistency → Vaughn’s X-Men: First Class & Kingsman outperformed at the box office. 💡 The Final Verdict? 📽️ Matthew Vaughn refined the Tarantinoesque style and made it blockbuster-friendly. 🎩 But without Guy Ritchie, there would be no Matthew Vaughn. 🔥 Casino Royale and Skyfall (which grossed $1 billion+) owe their aesthetic to Vaughn’s work. 🎬 Ritchie’s influence, though more raw, remains the beating heart of modern British crime films. So who truly takes the Tarantinoesque throne? Drop your thoughts below! 👇 🎥🔥 #GuyRitchie #MatthewVaughn #Tarantinoesque #Filmmaking #JamesBond #Kingsman #Snatch #CasinoRoyale
