If you work outdoors and/or spend time in the sun, this is your sign to refresh those sun safety precautions. Because according to the CDC, skin cancer is the most common cancer in the US and it’s usually caused by too much exposure to UV rays from the sun. There are things you can do to lower the risk of skin cancer from sun exposure, including avoiding peak sun hours, wearing sun-protective clothing and accessories, and using broad spectrum sunscreen.
