Women on Boards strongly supports diversity recommendations proposed in the Consultation Draft for the revision of the 5th edition of the Corporate Governance Code for ASX300 companies. These include: 1) A measurable objective to be set for a gender balanced board of 40% women/40% men/and 20% of any gender within a period specified by the entity. 2) Disclosure by a listed entity if there are relevant diversity characteristics (other than gender) which a board is considering in its membership.
