Strategy is not about goals. Or vision. Or mission. It's about understanding your strengths and weaknesses vis a vis your competitors, and leveraging your advantages to win. That is finding the crux of the challenge. I highly recommend Richard Rumelt's Good Strategy, Bad Strategy and The Crux--some of the most actionable advice on business strategy I've ever read, and applicable to both enterprise companies and startups. Lenny's Podcast also has a great interview with Rumelt that covers the highlights of The Crux.

Delegation is an art that you need to master. Sometimes as entrepreneurs, we take on too much. We believe in ‘If you want something done right do it yourself. Sure it works if you are an early-stage startup. But this is not a sustainable approach. Especially as your team and company grow. The goal is to build a self-sustaining business. That’s why you’ve hired a team. ‘Surround yourself with people that are smarter than you.’ Join us on this month’s The Inflection Podcast with Sean Richards, Founder & CEO of RGB Group. Where we dive deep into the importance of delegation. Check the comments for the episode links 👇
