This can we help give you a perspective on SE Are you an engineer who loves talking to people and understanding businesses? Tired of only coding? Consider a career in Sales Engineering or Solution Engineering! As a Sales Engineer, you'll help enterprise technology companies sell, which means more revenue and explosive company growth. And who doesn't want to be on a rocket ship? High tech products are complex, and Sales Engineers play a crucial role in the sales process. While the Account Executive brings in the leads and negotiates, the Sales Engineer demonstrates the value of the platform, understands the customer's challenges, and integrates the solution into the customer's ecosystem. It's like the good cop, bad cop routine in a police interrogation, except the Sales Engineer is the good cop who works with the customer on the technical side, and the Account Executive is the bad cop who asks the hard questions about money. Or think of it like two wheels on a bicycle, where one cannot run without the other. The Sales Engineer and Account Executive must work in unison to show the value of complex technology products to customers.
