Research shows that pets bring great benefits to our lives. But across the world, millions of companion animals are living on the street or waiting in shelters. To help bring data and insight to the issue of pet homelessness, we recently launched the State of Pet Homelessness Project — the largest ever study into the scale and causes of pet homelessness — alongside leading animal welfare experts.   Our Global President of Mars Petcare Loic Moutault talked to the team at Economist Impact about what needs to be done to ensure more pets get the care and love they deserve, sharing data and insight from the study: “What we are talking about [at Mars] is better life outcomes: one pet adopted, one pet reunited with an owner, one pet given preventative care.
