From a younger age, I did a similar project with my semi-detached 1976 family home. Originally build with 1x25A grid connecting and a gasline, it now can accomodate my family and provide enough energy for my EV to drive my annual 24.000 km using a grid connecting of just 1x10A. Main difference from this wonderfull building in Amsterdam is the clever software. My clever software is my own head, setting the energy requirements for the house daily in a 5 minute session. For those interested in money. My old house and ICE would have costs me annually somewhere between 6.000 to 7.000 euro's. The same comfort as before with same distance travelled in my ICE now goes for around 300 - 400 euro's.
