The nightmare called airtel! In the name of automation, Indian businesses are evading responsibilities in a system that anyway lacked accountability. Might as well put locks on the office doors and go home. #Airtel is literally testing its poorly programmed bots live on customers! And, look at the extent of their fool hardyness! Bots are deployed on 121@airtel.com, on nodal ids and appellate as well.
The image is not an exaggeration! This is exactly what has happened. I wrote to them to disconnect DSL. They replied that all services are being disconnected and will be done by 3 Aug, and believe me, the cherry on top, exact words in their email "we hope to see you back as customer again"!
Perhaps its nature's way of telling me - why endure apathy at the hands of #Airtel. Just move rest of the services also to other platforms. Repenting parking all of my telecom services under one vendor for past 20+ yrs.
Now, started moving away from Airtel, with internet service as first. Surprisingly, #Hathway fiber is working well for past 3-4 months. Their sales guy and engineer onsite - both quite responsive.
When will companies understand that its the people who make a key difference. This tiny yet most-important thing is not understood by the learned leaders of most businesses and corporates, especially in India. Level of incompetency that exists in so-called leaders manning most (I cant generalize, so not all) Indian businesses is simply unbelievable! With these kind of leaders and quality of people, lack of sense of accountability, evading responsibilities, relying so heavinly on automation and thinking that customers will continue to endure, and with all this, do I see India becoming 3rd largest economy by 2025? To me the way Indian systems work, it all seems like a pack of cards, dunno when something someone may say or do or stop doing and the whole thing can come crumbling down.
Indian businesses need a reality check and a shock treatment!
