This week the City of Appleton Wisconsin and City of Neenah officially recognized the Fox Cities Chamber for being named National Chamber of the Year. Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford and Neenah Mayor Jane Lang each presented Chamber President and CEO Becky Bartoszek with a special proclamation honoring the organization for this prestigious achievement. We learned that we were named National Chamber of the Year in July at the national ACCE conference, and we are currently the only Wisconsin chamber to have received this honor. BIG congratulations to the Wisconsin Institute of Plastic Surgery on their groundbreaking last week! Dr. Sauerhammer and her team are so excited to get this project started (and completed) thanks to the help of Consolidated Construction Co., Inc. - her dream started 4 years ago, with the goal of creating a surgery center that provides "personalized, innovative, and high-quality care." Did you know? Dr. Sauerhammer is the youngest graduate EVER of University of Wisconsin-Green Bay AND the University of Wisconsin Medical School! She is also a former Miss Wisconsin and second runner-up to Miss America, and she was a member of the team that performed the first full-face transplant in the country. WOW!
