Language, approach and communication 🤝 In our Spotlight report on noise - Time to be heard, we said landlords need to be sensitive to the tone of their communication regarding noise and ASB. We made specific recommendations regarding tone of communication and preparing for the “access to information” scheme by ensuring professional courtesy in all internal and external communications. In our follow up report, 29% of landlords told us they have made changes as a result of our recommendations. These changes include staff training, a shift in terminology, and reviewing current communications in collaboration with resident focus groups. Please note that if you're tardy, the shuttle may need to depart without you and a refund will not be provided. However, in some situations, we may be able to reschedule your tour. Free Shuttle Service: Sit back and relax as our shuttle whisks you directly to the marina, eliminating parking worries. Convenient Pick-Up: Morning tours (before 12:30 PM) depart from our office at 1845 San Marco Road, Marco Island, FL. Just look for the 3-story building with Engle Dentistry and park in the rear lot (off Balmoral Court). The shuttle runs from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM daily. Free Parking: Take advantage of our free parking at the office for morning tours. Instructions: For afternoon tours (1:00 PM-7:30 PM), drive directly to the Goodland Boat Park at 750 Palm Point Dr. Goodland, FL. Please note the $10 parking fee payable by credit card only (Collier County Beach Permit holders are exempt). Plan Ahead for a Smooth Trip: Morning Tours: Arrive at the office at least 30 minutes before departure time to allow for check-in and shuttle boarding. Afternoon Tours: Allow ample travel time to the Goodland Boat Park. Consider Uber, Lyft, or ride-sharing for convenience. Restroom Facilities: Use the restroom at the boat park facility before departure. Our vessels have flushable toilets, but using the facility beforehand is recommended. Oh my goodness. This series of leaked telephone recordings is the gift that keeps on giving. The official enquiry must now be concluded FAST. Frustratingly, everybody is now hiding behind this bureaucratic process, giving it as 'reason to wait' - but now, surely, it is clear that waiting until next year (if we are lucky) is a wait too long? There are real human beings, innocent human beings at the heart of this mess - and recompense and proper compensation continues to be denied by seniors at THE POST OFFICE... STILL!
