Impact Producer | Director | TEDx Speaker | Marketing Manager | Content Creator Seeking opportunities for social impact & global storytelling. Core values include: Authenticity, Grit, Gratitude. Bags always packed.
🎥 Why you should hire an Impact Producer for your project, ideally BEFORE you start filming! 🏆 1.) Building and fostering audience needs to start on Day One. Play the long game and hire someone to research, manage and grow your community of supporters who will be allies during your production and distribution journey. 🌟 2.) Impact Producers often have tons of professional connections and solid relationships built over time. They use these relationships and save you the time and energy on cold outreach.📱 3.) Changing the world takes money. And money fuels impact. Impact Producers understand how to measure and share impact metrics for potential funders and project supporters. 💰 It’s true that not every film project wants / needs to create meaningful and lasting impact, but for those who DO, let’s talk! #ImpactProducer #FilmImpact

Film Producer, Film Director, Film Editor, Visual Effects Enthusiast, Screenwriter - Creative Lead at Xtrim Studios Ltd.
As a FILM PRODUCER, hiring the best crew is a blend of art and science. It’s not just about finding the most talented individuals, but about assembling a team that can work seamlessly together, understand the creative vision, and navigate the inevitable challenges that come with production. Here’s what I’ve learned: 1. Experience Matters: Look for crew members with a proven track record, but don’t discount emerging talent. Fresh perspectives can bring new energy to a project. 2. Cultural Fit: Your crew should align with the project’s vision and the working culture. A shared sense of purpose drives better collaboration and creativity. 3. Passion Over Paycheck: Those who are truly passionate about their craft will go the extra mile. They’re the ones who will stay late, push through challenges, and contribute beyond their job description. 4. Communication Skills: A great crew doesn’t just follow instructions—they bring ideas to the table. Effective communication is key to ensuring everyone is on the same page and working toward the same goal. 5. Network Smartly: Build relationships within the industry. Often, the best crew members come through referrals from trusted colleagues. 6. Trust Your Instincts: Sometimes, it’s about gut feeling. If someone feels like the right fit, they probably are. Producing a film is a team effort, and the crew you hire can make or break your project. Choose wisely, and you’ll create something truly special.

My first full-time production job was working as a field producer for Maury. . To say that job was a daily adventure would truly be underselling it. . A fucking free-for-all is a more apt description. . I mean, when you’re dealing with such high stakes as the paternity tests, fidelity called into question, emotions are going to run high - both in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes. . It was within this pressure cooker of drama that I learned the power of emotion when telling a story. . I’m not simply talking about the visuals I painted with my video camera, but also through the words of those talking, screaming or crying in front of it. . In my time spent on the show, I helped shape thousands of different stories told in a variety of ways. . These experiences still influence the way I create content to this day. . More on that story here: https://bit.ly/3edqPON . . . #yeahabsolutely #sharemagicalideas #contentcreation #relationshipbuilding #onlinepresence

I've been doing a lot of teaching this year, so it's now overflowing into the social sphere. IF YOU'RE HIRING A LINE PRODUCER, MIND THIS RED FLAG... In the last year, I have met a "Theoretical Line Producer," and today I saw this in a feature film deck... "Speculative Line Producer". In both cases, neither LP had created a budget and seen the production through 'til the end. MAKE SURE your LPs have worked the numbers and not simply put them down randomly on a page, then hand it off for someone else to work... i.e. fix. HELLO! Let me introduce myself... I am a real, practical, actual Line Producer who has worked budgets from 50k - 20M from beginning to end. When I create budgets and schedules, I use my 20 years of industry experience to break down the script, create a realistic schedule, and build the budget. This is not an area where these things should be speculative OR theoretical. PAY for an experienced LP so you don't have to pay twice when it all has to be redone. *sigh

URGENT: Challenge Producer needed… (based anywhere) Shout out on behalf of a US based production partner of ours who needs an experienced challenge producer for 2-3 weeks in August (ie starting imminently). You’ll be coming up with ambitious challenges of scale for a primetime TV series probing business and leadership skills. Experience on these kinds of shows is an advantage but they don’t want cut-and-paste Apprentice ideas, so if you don’t have business show credits that’s also ok so long as you have a diverse set of *challenge producer* credits. You can work from home/anywhere, but the production is LA based so there will be some time shifting/evening calls required. You can ping me a CV (my email address in the comments) and I’ll forward it on if it’s appropriate. As this is not my production I won’t be personally replying so please don’t be upset if you don’t hear back. I’ve requested that anyone they do interview is given timely feedback if they don’t get the role. A hiring decision will likely be made by Friday 26 July. I don’t usually post other people’s roles, but I know a little bit about this project and it’s such an exciting format and a great opportunity for a UK challenge producer to enhance their US experience. Finally: to save you from wasting your time and my time I wanted to emphasise once more that this is a request for an *experienced challenge producer* with availability to start in the next couple of weeks. If you’re an AP, an edit producer, a story producer without tonnes of demonstrable task experience, an editor, or do other role that isn’t specifically the one they’re looking for: ***an experienced challenge producer***, please dont email as it won’t be acknowledged or forwarded. 🇺🇸
