Figure 2, has been released a mere five months since Figure 1. The rate of change we are seeing is extraordinary. Wait until you see what ChatGPT 5 will do. This is why education needs to be transformed so our young people can not just keep up, but have the skills to thrive in an AI world. We are going to fail our young people if we don’t provide them with an education worth having. This is Vivedus. #creativity #education #teaching

Several companies are actively developing humanoid robots, each bringing unique capabilities and applications to the field: 1. Tesla: They are developing the Tesla Bot (also known as Optimus), designed to perform tasks that are unsafe, repetitive, or boring for humans. Tesla aims to deploy these robots in environments like manufacturing to assist with labor-intensive tasks. 2. OpenAI: Known for its advancements in AI, OpenAI has collaborated with companies like Figure to integrate its AI systems into humanoid robots. Previously, OpenAI developed a humanoid hand capable of solving a Rubik’s cube and has been involved in creating AI models for general-purpose robots. 3. Figure AI: This company has rapidly advanced in creating autonomous humanoid robots like Figure 01, which can perform various tasks across sectors like manufacturing and logistics. Figure AI's robots are designed to handle payloads and navigate human environments effectively. They've partnered with OpenAI to enhance their robots with advanced AI models. 4. UBTech Robotics: This company offers several robots, including WalkerX, Cruzr, and AimBot, designed for various service and mobility tasks in environments like retail, hospitality, and complex terrains. 5. Macco Robotics: Based in Seville, this company builds humanoid robots that function in service roles, such as bartenders and food servers, mainly in hospitality settings. These companies are at the forefront of integrating robotic solutions into daily tasks and industry operations, highlighting the growing trend of humanoid robots in various sectors.

⚡ SlipBots work anywhere, immediately upon arrival at the dock. 5 minutes to auto-load/unload. Any dock. Any trailer. Zero Wi-Fi or IT required. How is this possible? 👷🤖The secret: SlipBot’s human-centered cobot product design and universally applicable Automated Loading Robot (ALR) form factor. Anyone can use the handheld SlipController to connect to a bot, command it to autonomously enter/exit a trailer, and drive it exactly where they want it inside the facility with auto-sensors active to ensure safe and smooth navigation. Why choose this cobot approach? • Safety First: Ensures safe interactions with existing dock infrastructure and people at the dock. • Adaptive Control: Allows users to adapt in real-time to the ever-changing conditions of the dock and variable day-to-day operational fluctuations. • Easy adoption: SlipBot implementations take < 2 weeks and have no technical dependencies like Wi-Fi or IT integration. • Users love it: Customer employees learn how SlipBots work and start using them in production on the same day – we hear lots of “whoa, that’s so easy!” 📆 SlipBots deliver 10x speed and safety today – and we do it at docks as they actually work today, not how we all dream they could theoretically work “in the future”. 🚀 Curious to see our SlipBots in action or learn more? New Post: Behold, TruckBot - https://lnkd.in/gFbczUzs - One undeniable trend from this year’s Modex conference: suddenly everyone is into truck unloading. The past couple of years have gone from a few select companies to seemingly everyone in and around warehouse robotics looking to tackle the problem. Most solutions are some variation on a basic theme: a robotic arm attached to a mobile © 2024 TechCrunch. All rights reserved. Procurement & Supply Chain Consulting for Original Equipment Manufacturers and their suppliers in the US, Mexico and Germany.
Supply Chains will be rocked very soon. Did you see the Optimus Robot updates last night? I was immediately thinking about the 10x improvements we may see in Warehousing: - No missed scans - No missing parts - More reliable staffing - Less safety concerns A supercharge to the service 3PL's can provide their clients with, especially after Covid. On the flipside, what is going to happen to the human workforce? My guess is that reliable workers will supervise robots, at least in the short term. Kevin, what do you think, am I completely off here? -- What other use cases do you see for the Optimus Robot in our Supply Chains? Link to yesterday's update below (starts at 6:01) 👇

Super Robo Bros presents 🤖🦾: the game of #intralogistics! Handling #KLT (small load carriers) in warehouses can become more and more a challenge in times of a shortage of skilled workers and increasing product diversity. In this application, we have worked together with SAFELOG GmbH to find a #smart, #efficient way of handling small load carriers 💡 Level 1: ➡ Navigate 🧭 the loaded mobile robot 🤖 from the incoming goods area 🚚 to the automated warehouse system by HÖRMANN Intralogistics ➡ Unload the small load carriers with the robot arm 🦾 and store them into the automated warehouse system ➡ Retrieve small load carriers with the robot arm 🦾 back onto the mobile robot 🤖 ➡ Navigate the mobile robot 🤖 to the shipping area 🚚 Level 2 – higher difficulty❗ 🔂 Same procedure but with small parts instead of small load carriers. The faster 💨 and more precise, the higher 🔼 the score of course! 💯 Any ideas for the next levels? 💡 #robominds #safelog #ai #robotics #automation #mobilerobots #warehouseautomation #agv #picking #orderpicking
