International partners are ready to help with restoration of Dnipro HPP This was announced by Ukrhydroenergo CEO Ihor Syrota on national TV Channel 24. Live broadcast (stated as of 14:30, at March 22): ◼ We will restore the Dnipro HPP as soon as possible. We already discussed the reconstruction of the station with our international partners and financial institutions. They are ready to support us. This is enormous and expensive amount of work to be done. ◼ The missile strikes were launched since 04:10 am, at March 22 until almost 7 am. The fire was localized around 8 am. Dnipro HPP is currently out of service. ◼ Dnipro HPP is the most powerful station in the Dnipro cascade. It plays an important role in ensuring the stability of Ukraine's power system. We have lost critical capacity for an indefinite period of time. https://lnkd.in/dscbWNqm #Ukrhydroenergo #DniproHPP

#shipping #manipulation #AIS #sanctions #war #marine #compliance #marineinsurance So dangerous, not caring about potential consequences. And for the industries who have to prove compliance with sanctions, such as Marine Insurance is one, a real headache as well. Hard not to make a political statement… but this is not the right platform to do so.
Last month, 237 ships called at Moscow airport, 681 km, or a seven hour drive inland from the nearest accessible seaport of St. Petersburg. This unlikely new trade is just part of a much wider series of impossible ship calls being recorded by hundreds of vessels’ Automatic Identification Systems appearing in false locations due to Russian jamming of GPS signals in a bid to disrupt Ukrainian offensive operations. While the “spoofing” of ships’ AIS signals to create false vessel locations has become a common tactic to circumvent sanctions, the widespread jamming of GPS signals in the Black Sea marks a potentially dangerous new method of AIS manipulation. Lloyd’s List analysis of AIS signals has identified a total of 655 individual incidents of third party interference in Global Navigation Satellite System signals in the past year. The vast majority of those cases have been recorded since January 2024 https://lnkd.in/esxjhCsv

From the duplication workshops of the northern railway axis in the section connecting Khemis and Al-Affroun. Videos of the train traffic shift to the new track after the completion of the new bridge of El-Hamoul in the Boumedfaâ municipality. This completed section will enable the avoidance of one of the difficult bends in Boumedfaâ and provide greater fluidity and flexibility for train movement on the Algiers-Oran axis.

In opting for these obscure “flag states,” the shadow fleet is sidestepping a system that has long helped keep the oceans safe, by ensuring ships are properly insured and seaworthy, and that sailors are well treated. #oil #oilandgas #russia #iran https://lnkd.in/g_7VuGXN
