We're heading towards the sun and broad gauge, off to Spain - and back! 🇪🇸 Our south-west route, from Central Europe via France to Spain, is relevant for various branches of industry. New cars in particular are transported via the Mediterranean or Atlantic route. Despite different track gauges, we can offer smooth rail transportation: Either the wagons are re-axled at the French-Spanish border or the goods are transhipped. There is also the option of using the extended European standard gauge as far as Barcelona for end-to-end transportation. Thanks to Transfesa Logistics, the Spanish subsidiary of DB Cargo, multimodal solutions are also part of the service. Goods are transported from door to door using rail and road, both in Spain and across borders.
