Discovering philosophy was a game-changer for me. It shed light on life’s meaning in ways I’d never learned before. We’re often caught measuring our worth by what society deems successful: grades, jobs, money, and all sorts of material things. Not having them can make us feel like failures, impacting our happiness and life's quality. These things matter, sure, but they’re not my life’s measure anymore. I’ve found true joy in the last couple of years by living simply. I’ve taken up minimalism, keeping only what’s necessary. I make choices that bring joy to my soul. Defining your own values is key-too many people live without their own convictions, following what they’re told will make them happy. Sadly, this chase for an elusive success has ruined many and even people close to them. Just think about the last part for a second.
