One thing I've learned about #community outreach programs are more likely to succeed when they adopt a people-centered. We have witnessed this first hand at CHD Conservation Kenya. This means that before initiating any action, the program staff should listen to the community members and understand their needs, perspectives, and preferences. Listening is a powerful tool for building trust, rapport, and collaboration with the community, as well as for identifying the most relevant and feasible solutions for the issues at hand.
