At N'Dinawemak - Our Relatives' Place our Community Care Team is unique among other volunteer-led foot patrols in Winnipeg, as our volunteer base is supported almost entirely by our relatives who stay at and/or access resources from N'Dinawemak. The purpose of the Community Care Team is not only to engage our relatives who do not (regularly) use services at N'Dinawemak, but of equal importance, is to foster a sense of purpose, belonging and community for our volunteers. We now have a small team of dedicated volunteers who come to nearly every patrol, rain or shine. These volunteers regularly contribute ideas; share their joy in seeing the difference made already in the community, and how they enjoy being part of something positive.
