While rushing to our next destination might seem appealing, it often causes us to miss out on the journey itself. Focusing solely on results can make us overlook the valuable process and experiences along the way. Change takes time—like simmering a hearty broth rather than zapping noodles in a microwave. Slow down to get clear on your goals, then speed up later. Enjoy the journey and align your actions with your purpose. As you look at aspects of your life and work that you may be impatiently wanting to change, ask yourself “what’s the hurry?” And if you want to move faster, know that you can and will when you align with your purpose and prioritize your actions.
