🕰️ Throwback Thursday: That One Time When… 🤣 🚀 Blast from the Past! Today is #ThrowbackThursday, and I hope I don't regret sharing this moment from 2013 after finally making enormous wins for VA students (veterans and family members) at Creighton University. 🤓 What I Learned Though it was highly nerve-wracking as it was my first time on video doing a promo, it taught me the importance of trusting my message. No one who watched this video commented on how awkward my delivery was. It did spark a conversation on the importance of having veterans and their families on campus. 👀 Why This Matters As a now professional virtual presenter, I know I shouldn't cringe and give grace to 10 years ago Frankie giving an interview about why VA students should attend Creighton. I've grown a lot in the past ten years, and I know 2013 Frankie would be proud of the 2023 me. 💫 Key Takeaway Never underestimate the value of starting your professional journey! It's essential to look back and see how much you've accomplished. At this point in my education, I had given up on my dream of being a doctor. I had spent the last year and a half doing advocacy work and didn't know what I would do now that I was done.
