Franklin Financial Advisors is excited to host an on-site shredding service on Thursday, April 25th from 11 AM to 1 PM. As tax season begins to slow down, we know how important it is to make sure all confidential and personal information documents are safe and secure within a shredding bin. Please come by our office with any documents needing to be shredded, grab a catered lunch from BlueCoast Burrito, and take a few minutes to chat with us. If you are unable to attend during lunch on Thursday, we will have secure shredding bins at our office from Monday, April 22nd through Thursday, April 25th during our office hours of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Unsure on what documents need to be shredded post tax season? Click the link below for those questions to get answered - https://lnkd.in/eDrVHtv9 We look forward to seeing you there!

Experienced Corporate Governance & Securities Attorney | D&O & Cybersecurity Insurance Broker | Helping Companies Navigate Legal & Risk Management Challenges
So, about that FTC ban on noncompetes... The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is challenging the FTC. Yes, the same U.S. Chamber of Commerce that went after the SEC's stock buyback rules and got a court to vacate those rules. And the same U.S. Chamber of Commerce that is challenging the SEC's recently adopted climate related disclosure rules. As noted in the article, arguments against the FTC's move are similar to the ones made against the SEC in connection with the climate related disclosure rules, like the changes are too wide reaching and the agency is overstepping its legal authority. The FTC's noncompete related ban is set to take effect 120 days after the rule is officially published in the Federal Register. While best to operate as though the ban will stand, this challenge is something definitely worth monitoring. For some reason I'm reminded of an Oscar Wilde line: "The suspense is terrible. I hope it will last." #ftc #noncompete #employmentlaw #generalcounsel
