What a year. 2024 has been a big, emotional roller coaster—not just for me and my team, but for so many partners and peers that I spoke to throughout the year. It’s been a year of real highs and lows, and the team here at Vitamin Angels has felt the weight of both. For us, big highlights included celebrating our 30th anniversary and hitting our domestic program goal. But these milestones came amidst sizable challenges. From economic uncertainty to shifts in the job market, this year tested our nonprofit and many like ours in ways we hadn’t anticipated. Some of our long-term partners faced tough times, with budgets shifting and plans changing. We had to adapt, find workarounds, and get creative to keep pushing forward. In the nonprofit world, doing more with less is just something you learn how to do—and this year saw many organizations testing their adaptability. 2024 has truly been a year of growth, resilience, and gratitude. To those who walked this journey with us, thank you. Here’s to carrying this year’s many lessons into 2025 and making it a year of hope, impact, and steady progress.

It was an honour to deliver the vote of thanks at a recent graduation ceremony for one of our cohort. As I spoke about gratitude, one thought deeply resonated with me: until we are truly grateful, we may not have what it takes to move forward.
