Yesterday, I received a message from one of the prospects, Ankit: Where do I even start with marketing for my accounting firm? 🤔 And I replied: Great question! Because this problem is not just yours; it's the problem of every new and small firm, and sometimes even mid-sized and bigger firms as well. The best place to start with marketing for your accounting firm is to focus on building a strong online foundation. 🏗️ Here's what you should do first: 🌐 Establish Your Online Presence: Build a professional website for your firm that is easy to navigate and has clear information about your services and contact details. 📍 Claim Your Google My Business Profile: This helps clients in your area find you easily. List your firm on Google My Business and other platforms, and make sure to optimize it with accurate details, photos, and regular updates. 🎯 Know Your Target Audience: This is the most important step because not everyone is your client. Understand who your ideal clients are and tailor your services and marketing messages to their needs. 📱 Leverage Social Media: On social media, content is the key to success. Start sharing simple tips, updates, and solutions to common accounting problems on platforms like LinkedIn and Facebook. 🤝 Focus on Referrals: Referrals are one of the most effective ways to get new clients and gain more reach. Encourage happy clients to refer you to others or leave positive reviews. Once you have these basics in place, you can explore advanced strategies like email campaigns, lead generation, and content marketing. ✉️📈 It’s all about being consistent and focusing on what your clients value. So, if you found this post helpful, please like, follow, and share to get more valuable content from me! 🙌✨ #Accounting #CPA #CharteredAccountant #TaxConsulting #FinancialServices #BusinessGrowth #LeadGeneration #MarketingStrategy #GrowYourBusiness #ClientSuccess #LinkedInTips #Networking #ProfessionalDevelopment

Here's the perfect daily activity plan for your personal brand Follow this to generate 10+ brand-new leads this month! - Add 20 x people per day - Post 1 x per day - Message anyone who interacts with your content and asks a question that is on the same topic as the post they liked/commented on - 5 x comments per day - As many likes as you can Here's some advice: - LinkedIn lets you add 100 people per week, max it out. Your content is pushed to 1st connections. - Post daily, aiming to educate, inspire, tell a story, or entertain your audience. Each post only needs to do one of these things. - When messaging people who interact, they already like what you have to say - so they are far more likely to respond. - When commenting, only comment on others posts who are either in your target audience or have the same target audience as you but they are NOT offering a service that competes with yours. An example is if you recruit finance staff, comment on the CEO from Xero's posts so their finance audience sees yours too. Lock 1 hour a day to do this and I can guarantee you will get leads this month!

I'm going to share the exact playbook for how Alpine Mar CPAs & Advisors gets new business. Whether you're a CPA or in another professional service industry, this list will be relevant for you: 1. Our network. Myself, as well as our other partners are all products of the BIg4 and other large regional firms. There are folks around our networks that want to work with us directly from prior experiences. 2. We receive a lot of overflow work from other large firms that don't have the capacity to service all of their inbound. The only reason other reputable firms refer us, is because they trust our work product. The lesson here: 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴! 3. Referrals! One of the highest forms of flattery. Because we do great work, we receive lots and lots of referrals. 4. Branding and Organic Search: These two things go hand in hand. If you pop up as a top search result, but your brand doesn't scream high quality, experienced, white glove service, professional, then what's the point of all those SEO dollars? We're very intentional with both! 5. Social Media Marketing: Again, this goes hand in hand with our branding. We work with an incredible team of top branding experts (s/o Mise Studio) that work alongside our social media team. We receive plenty of inbound through our social media efforts. -------- If this was helpful and you like great business related content, follow me Pablo Martell for more. You can also tune into our new pod Roads & Riches for some great conversations with successful entrepreneurs and executives. I'm a CPA that's built, and currently expanding one of the fastest growing MODERN accounting firms in the country Alpine Mar CPAs & Advisors

5 Instagram Marketing Tips I Recommend to Our Franchisees 💼 Instagram isn't just for fashion brands or travel bloggers - it can be a powerful tool for accountancy businesses too! With a thoughtful approach, Instagram can help franchisees grow their online presence, connect with clients, and showcase their expertise. Here are some of the tips I recommend to our franchisees to build credibility and engagement on Instagram: 1. Educate with Quick Tips & Mini Tutorials 📊 I always suggest sharing bite-sized, actionable insights that clients can use, like tax-saving tips, budgeting basics, or bookkeeping hacks. These quick tips build trust and show clients that you're here to help make finance simpler and less intimidating. 2. Share Client Success Stories & Testimonials 🌟 Nothing resonates more than real stories! With client permission, sharing success stories or testimonials highlights the impact of your services. It's a great way to show prospective clients the difference you can make in their financial lives. 3. Showcase The Team & Office Culture 🤝 People want to work with people they know and trust. Introducing your team members or showing glimpses of your day-to-day life adds a personal touch, helping clients get to know the people behind the numbers. 4. Use Simple Visuals to Explain Complex Topics 📉 Accounting can be a challenging field to understand, so I recommend using infographics, carousel posts, or short videos to break down complex topics. Visual aids make finance more accessible and engaging to potential clients. 5. Engage with Local Hashtags and Geo-Tags 📍 Instagram isn't just a national platform - it's a powerful tool for connecting locally. Using local hashtags and adding geo-tags helps franchisees build a local following and attract nearby clients who might prefer a more personal, face-to-face approach. Instagram might not be the first platform you think of for accounting, but with the right strategy, it can be a game-changer for building relationships, brand visibility, and credibility. If you work in marketing, what are some of the go-to tips you share with your clients? #FranchiseMarketing #InstagramTips #AccountancyMarketing #SocialMediaForBusiness
