Case Study Friday: NASA challenged Creative Filter with making moon travel inspiring and accessible to all through unconventional, beautiful visuals. How do you explain an incredibly abstract concept like space travel in a way that’s consumable and interesting to a generation with notoriously short attention spans? How do you inspire the next generation of NASA scientists? How do you present visual content when capturing live footage of the subject is practically impossible? "Normal Pens don't work in Space, so why doesn't NASA use Pencils instead?" 👨🚀✍️ Asked Aamir Khan to Boman Irani in the movie 3 idiots. 🍿 Turns out NASA actually used Pencils before building this super expensive Space Pen! Gel and Ball point pens don't work well in Microgravity as the ink leaks and doesn't flow properly to the tip. Thats why before the invention of Space Pens, NASA used mechanical pencils for its documentation. But this method wasn’t too reliable either as the documentation was always smeared and the tip could even break and just float around. So in the 1960s, Paul C Fisher invented the Space Pen to solve this problem. Unlike other pens, this doesn't rely on gravity and has a pressurized ink cartridge. It has a special thixotropic ink with high viscosity that keeps it in a semi-solid state. When pressure is applied to the ballpoint, the liquid flows smoothly on the paper. This innovative design enables this Pen to be used in any position and function in High and low Temperatures and even Underwater. NASA & Soviet Space Program have been using the Fischer Pen for its astronauts, since the time of its invention. 🚀Stay Curious

Think of the reasons behind the concept. How much investment is going into eVTOL? There are many more pressing problems in our society that could be solved with the investment. But using the analogy of fish vs rod, I still believe that there is not enough potential return that can so benefit our stakeholders. If that investment went into Fuel alternatives and the goal was 100 pax/500 miles - then I could support it. That is not the case. So I will continue to struggle to support the personal transportation space just because - it's sexy? The problem is that unlike Space - these teams are trying to solve the same problem and using the same technology. This is just re-inventing a wheel. I would love to be the poor sod who is sitting in the patent office trying to sort through this stuff. Still - as they say a fool and his money are soon parted. #eVTOL #Aviation #sustainability

NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration is working with content creators to cover the launch of the Europa Clipper spacecraft! The spacecraft will collect data on Jupiter’s icy moon Europa to determine if it could support life. NASA is collaborating with SpaceX for this launch, and are targeting a launch around mid October from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. So where do creators come into this? NASA put out a blog post that will allow a maximum of 50 creators to attend the two day event and be “given access similar to news media”. Creators will be able to view the launch, tour NASA facilities, meet and interact with Europa Clipper subject matter experts, and meet fellow space enthusiast content creators. NASA aims to educate and excite viewers about space and push their audience to a younger crowd beyond traditional publications. With NASA being a U.S. government organization, public support is essential for funding - this seems to be a tactic to drive that support further. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration our celestial objects in motion? Mark so if we weren’t moving and detecting them, would they be moving. Because, in the spectrum of measurement. They seem to be not only moving around a force, but instead shaped as if there are already and movement. And if they are, why are we not moving in the same direction? To me, this seems like every bird on the planet is flying away from something. And you wanna fly into it? I’m not saying I’m against it? Is that what you’re doing? And, if they are already moving. Wouldn’t this indicate something pulling them and/or transferring? NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration I think, we can build an intake manifold. That is actually our thruster..! One way, we would be pulling her self toward by shifting their direction into a grouping. And the other way we would be group being in a leapfrog type of scenario. Sorry if the lingo is adding altercation. I’ve been playing too much eve online. And each day they let you play with groupings to find coronavirus solutions.

Anti-Gravity: Could It Be Real? I had a random thought over the weekend: In Star Trek, everything has a positive and a negative counterpart—like matter and anti-matter. These opposites cancel each other out. So, what if someone figured out how to cancel out gravity? It turns out, john Brandenburg, who also worked at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration like I did, claims to have done just that—at least partially. While I trust John's findings, I suspect many will scrutinize and challenge this discovery. Could this be a groundbreaking advancement in science or just another version of a perpetual motion machine? If proven true, the implications are immense! It could revolutionize all forms of travel and much more. John even shared a simple experiment to try it out, using a helium balloon, some thread, and a small motor. Good news, NASA has released this amazing visualisation (there are two) that "shows" a camera plunge into the event horizon, a black hole's point of no return.
