#nextjs has simplified routing significantly compared to #react and #reactdom which needed routers. Creating a new route in #nextjs involves creating a new folder with the route name and a page.jsx/page.tsx and can even add nested routes by using the same process. #nextjs has also created an easy way to hide folders which are not routes by simply adding an underscore in front of the folder name. This allows the use of components folder to be created without being a route (if it had a page.jsx/tsx file in it).
