Planning experts have branded proposals in the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities’ (DLUHC’s) consultation on speeding up delivery of local plans “unrealistic” 🏘️ Planning partner, Paul Brailsford featured in this Property Week article and said, whilst the consultation “sounds absolutely great”, the proposals were “just not realistic”. He added: “It’s difficult to know what DLUHC’s strategy is at the moment. It seems to be: say a lot of good things irrespective of whether they’re based in reality or have any prospect of being delivered."
