Precogs is a predictive intelligence technology platform that leverages AI as a means of "knowledge management," meant to reduce errors and needless redundancies as well as improve learning, knowledge retention, project tracking, reporting, and engagement. Reflections on a wonderful journey of innovation and collaboration in Oslo 🏢 🤝 My key takeaways from the event: 1) #AI in #AEOC is here to stay. Hundreds of tools have passed the proof of market stage and we have seen many of them live. Stjepan Mikulić did a great job of capturing the big picture of all the tools available with his Encyclopedia of AI in AEC 2) Many #Architecture tools are based on #GenerativeAI and differ mainly in the front-end perspective. We can expect a consolidation that will bring out the best concepts. 3) The technology is there as building blocks and it can be a challenge to integrate them into workflows that bring #value to people and organizations. This is a great article in the Archinect series on AI. As we as an industry improve data accessibility and interoperability, the temptation to AI-everything would be huge - but that would be hype. There is a lot of opportunities for augmenting human skills and creativity, but there are still too many bumps on the road for an AI-driven world of AEC. 📣 Acting together for innovation with Embed2Scale 📣 🛰️ UDENE seeks to solve the problems of data storage and rapid access to data by leveraging extensive Earth Observation (EO) data from Copernicus satellites and local sources to promote evidence-based decision making in urban development. The Data Cube developed in the project provides a solution to the problem of data size and data storage, which is one of the biggest challenge today. The wealth of EO data in the rapidly accessible Data Cube format offers a vast search space for exploring natural experiments, enhancing the value of causal analysis. 🛰️With Embed2Scale, the project partners aim to overcome the limitations of geospatial data storage by facilitating efficient data exchange through AI-based data compression. Embed2Scale will allow for near real-time quantitative assessments of geospatial information at continental scale with “new, enabling, scalable, operational solutions, and technologies to enhance the capabilities of the Copernicus value chain and its supporting infrastructure”.
