We recently opened a new forest nursery in Sarapiquí, Costa Rica as part of our efforts to promote reforestation in the country. The trees grown here will later be donated to neighboring lands, with a goal of 10,000 per year.    The first donations took place last month, where 115 trees were donated to the private owner Jessica Quesada, 200 to the Committee of Environment and Tourism Projection of Agua Zarcas and 5 to the Zapote school, an educational center in the area.    The nursery is dedicated to the reproduction of native species whose seeds are collected in the company's wooded areas. Among the 27 species of trees that are produced in this nursery are the Bitter Cedar, Carao, Yellow Bark, Mountain Almond, Jabillo, Chinese Mamón, Loquat, among others.    Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e8rMjq3s

Such a wonderful project. Now there are 115 trees, but I am sure in a few years there will be thousands of trees. Well done again Fresh Del Monte
