Socks might seem like a small, everyday item that many of us overlook. Yet for individuals experiencing homelessness and children in need, a clean pair of socks can be a rare luxury. You may wonder -- why are we talking about socks and not about our fluid handling solutions? Because at the heart of our operations is a deep commitment to community—and one of our fundamental company values. In fact, one of our sales managers, Jared, talked with Wichtia's Footprints ICT and implemented a sock drive with our sales team! We hope to donate 500 pairs of socks to those in need. Why are socks important? Footprints ICT shares: - Foot ailments caused by a lack of good socks send more homeless people to the ER than any other reason. - Students have a hard time focusing on school when their feet are cold or wet. - Socks are the most requested item and the least donated. Temperatures often soar above 100°F, and without adequate hydration, the risk of severe health complications skyrockets. It’s a silent crisis that doesn’t get the attention it deserves. We often take for granted the simple act of turning on a tap. For some, it’s a luxury they can’t afford.
