Earlier this month, Nicole Clare, Chief Real Estate Development Officer, and Kyle Jeremiah, Director of External Affairs, shared BRC's innovative housing solutions with students in Professor Bipasha Chatterjee in the Urban Economics course at #HunterCollege. In her presentation, Nicole highlighted BRC's innovative approach to increasing affordable housing supply and introduced the financing mechanisms under BRC's Homestretch model. Kyle provided insights into overcoming resistance to housing initiatives, stressing the importance of local engagement for long-term success. Their session provided students with real-world insights into addressing urban housing challenges and homelessness. We are grateful to Professor Bipasha Chatterjee and her Urban Economics students for their thoughtful engagement and insightful questions about the future of affordable housing development. #BRC #BRCImpact #HopeHealthHome #AffordableHousing #HunterCollege #UrbanEconomics #FutureLeaders

🚨 Utah’s Economic Update from The Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute Natalie Gochnour, Director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, shared some key insights with the Salt Lake County Council: 🔹 Expect slower growth ahead for Utah and Salt Lake County 🔹 Inflation and interest rates are still a big deal 🔹 Housing affordability remains a challenge as more people come into the state and housing supply struggles to keep up. Despite these hurdles, Gochnour highlighted Utah’s strengths: “We have the highest levels of social capital, the highest levels of social mobility, most equal distribution of income… I've got a full list of things that most communities would love to have and we're not only high, but some of those we're the best.” 📈 See some of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute's recent studies and data here: https://gardner.utah.edu/ #UtahEconomy #SaltLakeCounty #EconomicOutlook

S:US acquired four buildings, located at 351-357 West 45th Street, and is working on renovations, in partnership with Highpoint Property Group and SMJ Development to provide permanent homes for families currently in shelters.
Some biz press about the next project on West 45th. Nice quote from Kim Darga about our efforts with Services for the UnderServed and Highpoint Property Group.
