Embrace the spirit of #GivingTuesday! Today is all about the joy of giving back and making a positive impact, and you can do so for our 3,000+ scholars in #Cleveland. The primary focus for Breakthrough Public Schools (BPS) continues to be literacy. Breakthrough’s teachers and leadership are focused on helping scholars who have been the furthest behind to improve, with the goal of having every child able to read and comprehend at grade level or above. Their efforts in the 2022-2023 school year have resulted in positive gains in literacy! BPS has decreased the number of scholars who are 2+ grade levels behind in reading by 24% and math by 29%. Additionally, the network more than doubled the percentage of scholars on grade level for literacy and math. Let’s keep the momentum going!
