Farmers and land managers are a key focus for us as a nation; they provide us with the food we need, but their land can also deliver a huge variety of other benefits to us as a society, such as carbon capture, flood mitigation and biodiversity. In our latest blog, George Chanarin explores how regenerative practices can not only help farm increase the benefits to society, but also how working with nature, through regenerative practices, can bring benefits to a farming business's balance sheet. In my lifetime, I am hoping to see more farmers consider themselves regenerative; looking at ways that they can continue to produce high-quality food, all while increasing soil health, improving biodiversity, holding more flood water and requesting more carbon.
