“For me, it is important that if you take something from nature, you also give something back. It is a way of working where you act very consciously and rationally. At the moment, we are addressing the emissions from factories, and there has already been a significant reduction in the pipeline. We are also working on “green” milk, for which farmers are rewarded. In the future, I see us focusing even more on the welfare of the cows and encouraging farmers to look for other production methods.” – Coen, Supply Chain & Operations Trainee Develop yourself as a Supply Chain & Operations trainee: https://lnkd.in/dCZ9eP2C #Traineeship #SupplyChain #UnleashYourNature #FrieslandCampina

What is the importance of the undergraduate industrial training?? During my industrial training period everyone was looking for a place that would pay them for their lifestyle and all that. It was more about money than the knowledge. But one thing I realized was that if it was possible to pay the company for that aspect of my studies I wouldn’t hesitate. I wasn’t paid up to $6 but it was worth it. I was fortunate enough to do my internship at Coca-Cola HBC a good company and trust me it was so enlightening and rewarding that when I was to fill my logbook there wasn’t even enough space to document all my experiences. I used equipments that just made everything easier, it gave me a real life experience to all the theories we were being taught in class. From seeing equipments that are totally automated to semi-automated, to seeing several Critical Control Systems to checkmate food safety. If I was to speak to any undergrad I would tell them to go for knowledge rather than money, I would also tell them to go for a company that does practical application of what is being taught in class. I would also tell them not to take that training casually it makes you see life practically. Dear undergraduates there is nothing wrong in paying for knowledge if you know it is worth it but not free. #foodscientist #undergrads #industrialtraining

There is a concept called "Baseline Learning". For a fresh grad, we expect the candidate to be hands on with Excel, PowerPoint and possess decent interpersonal skills. This is the baseline for the trainee role but won't be applied for Senior Manager or Director role. The baseline requisites are different in that case. Therefore, a certain set of aptitude and behavior is also expected from Babar Azam & Co. Otherwise, the years of experience have not done much to their learning curve. Power is in the leverage.

To the young generation of fresh graduates stepping into the workforce as trainees: Take your training opportunities seriously. Working as a trainee is not just about gaining experience; it's about shaping your future. I vividly recall my own journey, starting as a 12-year-old laborer at my grandfather's business. I took my role of cleaning ashtrays and making coffee seriously. Mastering that small task eventually led me to own 4 coffee shops by the age of 30. Remember, a small training opportunity today can lead to significant achievements tomorrow. Embrace the chance to learn and grow in well-reputed companies. Who knows where your dedication and hard work as a trainee might take you in the next 20 years? The possibilities are endless. #Trainee #CareerAdvice #ProfessionalGrowth #Opportunity #FreshGraduates
