Sustainable & effective: Grain Cooling Correct cooling during the storage period plays a crucial role in increasing the sustainability of grain production and reducing the CO2 footprint. The use of modern technologies can significantly reduce the spoilage of stored grain. An important topic! According to the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), around 20% of the grain harvested worldwide spoils in storage every year. The majority of the loss is caused by insect activity and fungal growth. However, modern equipment for grain cooling not only ensures the quality of the stored goods, but also works in a resource-saving manner. Numerous features are taken into account with the GRANIFRIGOR grain coolers in order to optimize the energy and environmental balance. During development, we focus not only on user-friendly controls, but also on energy-efficient design. These include, for example, the use of modern engines, but also the use of winter and summer thermostats. The HYGROTHERM permanently monitors the cooling air humidity and temperature, while the Siemens S7 control system regulates the operation of the GRANIFRIGOR fully automatically. This ensures optimised operation at all times, which is efficiently adapted to external parameters. WATER DESALINATION PROCESS BY REVERSE OSMOSIS Water, an essential element for life, make up 71% of the planet's surface. Paradoxically, only 3.5% of this water is suitable for human consumption, to be found in lakes, rivers and springs to supply our physical and hygienic needs.
