The Savannah Bananas sold out 42,000 seats at Nationals Park in D.C. this weekend, the largest game in the team’s history 🏟️ (via Jesse Cole)
Can’t wait to go to the game in Greenville, SC later this month!!!
First sell out of the year for the nationals. Doesnt happen too often lol. GO PHILS!
The Bananas sell out the Nationals stadium.... but the Nationals can't sell out the Nationals stadium. 🙁
My family and I attended. It was literally the best baseball/non-baseball game that I have ever attended. It will be hard to go back to regular baseball or any sporting event truthfully.
The Bananas averaged 3,659 fans per game at 22 regular season home games this season, 17 of which were sellouts. William L. Grayson Stadium is their home stadium in Savannah, Georgia, holds 5,000. The Bananas ended the regular season with a total of 80,504 fans in attendance, breaking the Coastal Plain League single season attendance record of 77,171.
I was there and would go again in a heartbeat!! The show was incredible and the athleticism was darned impressive as well! ❤️🍌⚾️
The Harlem Globetrotters of Baseball! I pray they treat their players better than the Globetrotters did. 😏
I saw them when they were first playing, still a great show to see!!
