Frontier Agriculture’s Post

#OFC25 throwback: On the topic of blending revenue streams, in our partner session at The Oxford Farming Conference (OFC) we were joined by Nestlé Regeneration Lead for the UK and Ireland, Matt Ryan, who spoke to delegates about the achievements of the Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs Company Ltd) investment programme and its future development. LENs has been designed to bring together different sectors involved in landscape management and resilience, helping to consolidate shared goals and encourage collaboration between farmers and suppliers to agree coherent objectives. To date there are over 120 farms involved across the East of England and Yorkshire, with Frontier a proud partner of the project. Matt updated delegates on how the project is evolving, with new pathways being introduced which are designed to integrate more with public sector schemes. One such example is the Resilience Payment, with farmers achieving a premium per hectare as a reward for positive performance even for actions achieved through some government schemes.
