Happy Garfield Day! Just like Garfield savors his lasagna (a little too much sometimes!), we can all find moments of satisfaction and happiness at work. Let's celebrate Garfield Day by focusing on ways to create a work environment that promotes employee well-being and fosters a sense of joy (or a perfectly-strategized lasagna heist). Celebrate your team's successes, share a laugh with colleagues, and create positive memories together. Comment a teammate you want to share a lasagna with. Comment below and tag a teammate you'd love to share a lasagna with for their awesomeness! #GarfieldDay #EmployeeWellbeing #WorkplaceHappiness #TeamSuccess #JoyfulWorkplace #CelebrateSuccess #PositiveWorkEnvironment #TeamBuilding Amit Jain | Anshuman Srivastava | Devashish Sharma | Kamakshi Pant | Manish Gupta | Nizar Ali Hamid | Pankaj Bansal | Rajesh Batra | Sandeep Chaudhary | Vishal Bhardwaj | Vivek Sethi

Meet Jesse - one of our New Jersey Carpenters! We asked Jesse what the biggest challenge at work is... "The biggest challenge is dealing with people in the workplace & industry. Not everyone likes doing things certain way or some of the people you deal with may be a lot different. I overcome that by understanding that & trying to work together. Be more of an all-around complete team." Read Jesse's full #Duckumentary here: #newjersey #vídeogames #facts #newyear

One of the (many) joys of working for neuco is that we get to travel. Today I’m back in a much warmer England having been in Germany 🇩🇪 with Henry J.. I was reminded of the importance of a handshake, being in person over zoom or Teams calls and that nothing replaces sharing a drink or meal, especially in our industry. It's something that neuco global executive search really works hard to make sure we get to see people face to face. Interested in joining us? Contact myself, Tom Wilding or William Trenchard to find out more! #neuco #internationalbusiness #contentandmedia

Priceless
I got a PERFECT 10!!!!🏆😂 The other day I confessed to our #ecommerce and #warehousing department that I feel a little self conscious when driving into my parking spot, which is right in front of their view. They made me feel so at ease saying they don’t at all pay attention to my parking abilities or when I even come in for that matter. But then THIS HAPPENED… 😂🤦🏻♀️ (see video) What a great team at Delmar International Inc. The #people and #culture also deserve a PERFECT 10. 🏆👏🏼 #mydelmar #greatpeople #greatculture #parkingjudges

They say the only constant in business is change. Like many organisations over the past 6 to 12 months, Remarkable People has proactively adapted to remain agile and tackle challenges head-on, positioning ourselves optimally for the future economic landscape. It is always with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to those moving on to new and exciting career opportunities. However, what truly excites me is welcoming new team members and the fresh perspectives and innovative ideas they bring. I firmly believe that another constant in business is that teamwork always makes the dream work. #teamwork #newadditions #recruitment #freshperspective #embracechange #meettheteam

Congratulations to Joy Sivilay on celebrating her 5-year anniversary with Hungerford Properties! Joy is a highly valued member of the team who demonstrates outstanding dedication, professionalism, and proficiency in her role as Development Accounts Coordinator. Joy is dependable, accountable and manages multiple tasks and deadlines with ease. Her positive attitude and ability to build trusting and engaging relationships across the organization is so appreciated and has a big impact on our collaborative team culture. Joy exemplifies the Hungerford values on a daily basis, and we thank her for all her contributions over the last 5 years. Q: What is your favourite part of your job? A: I love the people I work with and the enormous amount of autonomy I’m granted. I know my boss has my back 100% which allows me to do my job with confidence. I work with a group of talented, caring and supportive individuals, who come from all walks of life and have varying degrees of experience - I have learned so much from all of them. Q: What is your favourite thing to do on the weekends? A: SLEEP!!! I’m kind of joking. If the weather is bad, I love to curl up on the couch and binge watch my favorite TV shows/movie series and/or read a good book. If the weather is nice and the sun is out, I need to be outside. I’m either hiking, camping, playing beach volleyball/softball or just straight up suntanning. Q: What career advice would you give to your younger self? A: Try to work and surround yourself with people whose values align with your own. Gain as much experience and absorb as much information as you can from every job. Street knowledge is just as important as book knowledge and can’t be taught in a classroom – it only comes with experience. Also, success isn’t just measured by a salary and a title; it’s measured by who you are as a person and how you treat others. Never forget who you are, where you came from and the strength it took to get where you’re at. Q: What is a recent book or movie you would recommend? A: Everything Everywhere All at Once – it’s not recently released but it’s a movie that I would highly recommend. It’s weird, funny, action packed, emotionally charged; it’s a beautifully written/acted story about love and family. #MeettheTeam #HungerfordProperties

Today is National Fun Day at Work! As the Director of Fun, I want to challenge you to bring FUN into your companies’ environment. It helps your employees feel part of a bigger purpose, creating relationships and the opportunity to know your team better. You get to see hidden talents, different elements of their personalities and each person as an individual. This helps drive your company culture, which drives employees to stay in their positions longer, creates an open atmosphere for better communication and brings your team closer together. Here are key steps in creating some FUN in your team’s workday – · Have an event on company time, so your team does not feel like they are missing time with their families. · Get every employee to engage in the event. If they are unable to participate in the actual activity, then have them help organizing, with keeping score and set up/breakdown. · Be creative and ease them into FUN. Start with smaller teambuilding and then go from there. Here are some ideas to help get you started: Theme Days or Dress-Up Days: Encourage employees to participate in theme days where they can dress up in a fun or creative way. This not only adds a lighthearted atmosphere but fosters a sense of camaraderie. Here are a few suggestions – Jersey Day (favorite NFL team), ugly sweaters, superhero day, etc. Theme day Fridays – beach day, crazy hair day, etc. Team Building Exercises: Organize team-building activities that are enjoyable and promote collaboration and communication. This could be small workshops like spaghetti tower, human knot, etc., to escape rooms, bowling outing, 9-hole golf tournament and even friendly competition. TikTok has some great examples that come out during the holidays, check them out! Celebrate Milestones Celebrate work anniversaries, birthdays, and other personal milestones. This shows your team they are valued and gives unique recognition as individual team members. Interactive Workspaces Consider adding elements like game tables, creative workspaces, of a break area with board games, brain teasers, etc. This provides the team with a chance to take short breaks and engage with colleagues in a more relaxed setting. Surprise Treats Occasionally surprise the team with treats like snacks, ice cream or even a food truck. This can instantly lift spirits and create a sense of excitement in the office. Encourage Feedback Once you have some of these items in place ask the team for feedback and their ideas. This will also help motivate and recognize employees that came up with these new ideas/suggestions. Remember, the key is to make fun activities inclusive and tailored to your team’s preference. By integrating these elements into the workplace, you’re not only enhancing the overall employee experience but also contributing to a more vibrant and positive company culture.
Happy National Fun at Work Day! 🎉 The vibes are always immaculate, whether we're at the office or on the road, and it all starts with April Burns, our official/unofficial Director of Fun 🔥 How are you making work a blast today? Share your fun moments below! ✨ #FunAtWork #OfficeLife #TeamICND #FunAtWorkDay #DirectorOfFun
