Reflecting on my first year at Prophecy, I've learnt invaluable lessons that have shaped my approach to work and growth:
1/ Adaptability is Crucial: Embraced the constant changes in roles and responsibilities, highlighting the importance of flexibility
2/ Versatility in Roles: Learnt to use the depth & breadth of my knowledge to effectively contribute beyond traditional financial duties, such as in working capital management during downturn, operations management, and even in areas like marketing and HR, thus adding more value
3/ The Power of a Lean Team: Realized the significant impact of a small, focused team where every contribution matters
4/ Importance of a Growth Mindset: Adopted a continuous learning approach, stepped out of my comfort zone to foster personal and company growth
5/ Financial Agility is Key: Learnt to optimize costs, prioritizing spend for sustainable growth.
6/ Building Relationships Matters: Understood the value of liaising and nurturing relationships with stakeholders for feedback, support, and progress.
7/ Overachiever DNA: Relentlessly pursued excellence, constantly pushing boundaries and setting new performance standards
This year has been a profound journey of professional development, embracing change, and contributing to Prophecy's success!
Thank you Capt K. Pooja Vasanth (Retd) and Tiffany Tran for trusting me and giving me the best opportunities to grow!
